Welcome to the official website of Social and Development Alliance (SDA), an initiative under Darul Khair Trust. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website and services. By using this site, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. About SDA
SDA is a Shariah-compliant, charitable platform providing Qarz-e-Hasana (interest-free loans) to the needy, especially widows, orphans, the unemployed, and individuals below the poverty line. We operate strictly under the Indian Trust Act 1882 and the deed of Darul Khair Trust.
2. Definitions
- “User” refers to any person visiting or interacting with this website.
- “Member” means any individual voluntarily supporting SDA through monthly contributions.
- “Loan Seeker” means an individual applying for financial support through SDA.
- “Non-member” means a person not enrolled as an SDA Member.
3. Membership
- Membership is open to Indian citizens aged 18 and above.
- Contributions are charitable, non-refundable, and will not be returned under any circumstances.
- Members shall not claim profit, interest, ownership, or voting rights in the Trust.
- Any member whose contribution reaches ₹5000 becomes eligible for a “Warrior Against Riba” Certificate.
- Membership requires honest conduct; misrepresentation may lead to cancellation.
4. Loans & Financial Assistance
- All loans are interest-free.
- Members can access loans based on their contribution slab and tenure.
- Non-members can apply for loans up to ₹3000 with 3 guarantors and a masjid tasdeeq.
- SDA also supports small-scale businesses and self-employment initiatives where genuine, especially for financially struggling individuals. Luxury, non-essential, or speculative investment purposes remain ineligible.
- If SDA is unable to fulfill a loan request due to insufficient funds or constraints, the applicant must submit a written declaration citing reasons such as loss of income, illness, or other hardships. This will allow SDA to reassess their need during Ramzaan, at which point, their loan amount may be paid through Zakaat, subject to verification and eligibility.
- Providing false statements, forged documents, or attempting to manipulate the system may lead to permanent disqualification and legal action under applicable law.
- SDA reserves the right to accept or reject any loan application based on need assessment, honesty, and documentation.
5. Self Help Groups (SHGs)
As per the Darul Khair Trust deed, SDA may form and support Self Help Groups (SHGs):
- SHGs are designed to promote micro-credit access and rural development.
- Members are encouraged to participate in SHGs for collective benefit.
- SHG involvement can enhance eligibility and trust rating for loans.
6. Use of Website
- You agree to use the site lawfully and ethically.
- You must not attempt to hack, spam, or disrupt website operations.
- Content on this website is for information and awareness only.
- SDA may update or remove content at its discretion.
7. Privacy Policy
- We respect your privacy. Personal data is handled with utmost care.
- Data shared with SDA will not be sold or disclosed to third parties except for legal requirements or internal operations.
8. Donations & Transactions
- All online contributions are final and considered charitable donations.
- Acknowledgements will be sent via email/SMS.
- Transaction failures must be reported within 72 hours for assistance.
9. Intellectual Property
- All content including logos, text, graphics, and media belongs to Darul Khair Trust or SDA unless otherwise stated.
- You may not copy, reproduce, or use the content without written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
- SDA and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website or services.
- SDA’s decision in all matters related to loans and membership is final.
11. Termination of Use
- SDA reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to the website or services in case of misuse or violation.
12. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with Indian law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Darbhanga, Bihar.
